Athletic and Playground Surfaces


Tyrecycle’s recycled rubber granule is a quality Australian made product produced from 100% locally sourced waste tyres. It is ideal for surface applications, particularly as athletic tracks, equestrian surfaces, sporting fields and playground surfaces.

Soft-fall surfaces such as children’s playgrounds are also created using recycled rubber, to lower the force of impact and reduce injuries. These durable and low maintenance surfaces are also porous, allowing them to perform even in harsh weather conditions.

Tyre Derived Fuel (TDF)

Tyre derived fuel provides an alternative energy resource to replace fossil fuels such as gas, coal or oil in industrial applications such as cement kilns, electricity generation or industrial process heat. Over the years, Tyrecycle has successfully produced TDF as an alternate fuel for Domestic and International use.

Road Construction

Recycled rubber is perfect for the construction of road surfaces enhancing their performance, significantly reducing road noise and extending the life of our roads by making them more durable and sustainable. Recycled Rubber Crumb Asphalt (RCA) and spray sealing accounts for about 25% of the Australian recycled rubber market.

Tile Adhesives

Recycled rubber powder generated in Australia is a popular material for modified tile adhesive. The rubber powder provides the flexible properties of cured rubber to the tile adhesive. This helps prevent cracking, which can be caused over time by movement in buildings.

Moulded Products

Tyrecycle manufactures raw materials from truck tyres to meet the needs of moulding manufacturers across the country, including: safety ramps, speed humps, retail floor mats, rail crossing plates and a multitude of other products.
