The transition towards a lower carbon, more circular economic model represents both a significant challenge and a great opportunity to ‘Build Back Better’.

While global research shows that tyres are one of the most heavily recycled consumer products, we need to raise consumer awareness on ‘what genuine recycling looks like’ and why it costs more to do things sustainably.

With the waste export bans on tyres taking effect later this year Tyrecycle is partnering with local retailers to ‘Build Back Better’ by ensuring our used tyres are appropriately recycled and re-purposed into other usable materials.

To meet demand, Tyrecycle has a new tyre recycling plant coming online in Sydney, while a second new plant is scheduled for WA in the coming months, and we are bolstering our operations in South Australia, Victoria, and Queensland.
